`Living Nature, Diploma on beauty I attended Living Nature's(LN) product training yesterday(Sat)! cool luhh~ i learn soo many things. even more than what i've learn in Lancaster. one very, very interesting facts i've found out during training yesterday. " mens' skin are 4-5 times THICKER than womens' skin!!! " HAA! in another words, men are thick-skinned. LOLS! no offence guys. (: that's the fact. HEH. After yesterday's training, i'm really proud of LN now. A brief introduction on how LN is introuduced! Suzanne, the founder of LN, who lives in New Zealand, a biochemist, eventually came out with these 100% natural products. One day, she got the urge to produce her own body, skincare products. She went around New Zealand searching for natural plants and resources which can help in human's skin. Then, she does further researches and does chemical test etc etc etc. And ta dah! She started selling her body, skin-care products in her cottage. It attracted many people to her home to try out her products. Her invention of LN brings her huge crowds who praised on her products, whom commented that her products are very effective and natural. And that's how it's starting to introuduce in Sg and other countries. Hence, LN will be expanding their boutiques in Sg. (: A very short summary on LN. interesting? ;D mostly of the product that we're using actually contains harmful chemicals which will caused skin cancer after long-term use. the top 10 harmful substances that is contained in our skincare, cosmetics, body care(shampoo,soaps etc) are: 1. Isopropyl Alcohol 2. Mineral Oils 3. Propylene Glycol 4. Sodium LaurylSufate/Sodium Laureth Sulfate 5. Chlorine 6. Diethanolamine/Momoethnanolamine/Triethanolamine 7. FD & C Color Pigments 8. Fragrace 9. Imidazolidinyl Urea and DMDM Hydantoin 10. Paraben ( methy, propane etc etc etc ) Yea. that's the list. i guarantee some of it can be found in yr products that you're using especially the paraben, which can be in many forms except that your products are 10% natural. How scary it is to continuing using products that will caused skin cancer!! ;( These are all I wanna share with you guys today. (: its interesting ya? cus i found it so interesting. and i can't wait to start work. ): have to wait till next saturday. that'll be my first day of work. Cosmetics, body wash available too. (: Also, I'm considering in taking up beauty diploma. Photographic, bridal, fashion make-up & hairstyling Diploma. The whole diploma cost abt $3k, 32 lessons. I'm interested in this field alot alot. If I got this diploma, even if i worked part time in beauty line, my pay will be much more higher. I'll be going for it!
